Colleen’s Solar Story
“I was thinking about getting solar on my home in Donald and I had been looking around for a good solar company”, said Colleen . “I heard from my daughter who lives nearby about a solar bulk-buy – called the Mallee Sun Solar Bulk-Buy – which is supported by Buloke Shire Council. She told me that there was going to be a bulk-buy info meeting in Charlton and suggested that we go together.”
“I found the meeting very informative. The presenters from the bulk-buy and Specialized Solar, the solar retailer for the bulk-buy, were very knowledgeable. I also liked that the bulk-buy is a council-supported program with free solar that goes back to the community.”
What happened
