Chris’ solar story
We have so much sunshine in Australia, it’s logical to use it. To me, it’s common sense to make the most of the power of the sun otherwise it’s just going to waste. Solar is the way of the future. I believe that if you don’t embrace this type of technology, you’re missing out.
What happened
I heard about the MASH Community Solar Bulk-Buy via our local radio station, Goldfields FM. I went along to the information meeting in Maryborough which gave me all the details I needed.
Next, I put in a request for a quote and the MASH solar retailer, Specialized Solar & Electrical got in touch. It all seemed to flow well. Their installer was good and got on well with my Labrador!
Results
The installation of the panels on the east and west is perfect for us. It means we get the morning sun powering our solar system as well as the afternoon sun which maximises the power generation at the times we need it.
The installation looks neat and tidy and the electrical work with the inverter was good. The installers set up the app so I can see how the system is working in real-time.
I am looking forward to seeing my next bill and how much the solar is saving us!
