Founded in 2011, Seraphim is a world-class solar panel manufacturer with more than 11 gigawatts of solar panels installed in over 40 countries.
Their solar panels are subject to stringent quality control through highly automated manufacturing processes at the company’s plants in China and the USA.
Seraphim’s focus on innovation and product quality is recognised by industry expert, PV Evolution Labs who have listed the company as a Top Performer.
Seraphim is rated as a Tier 1 solar panel manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance. This rating is an indicator of financial stability, an important consideration when considering the ability of a company to honour its warranties over the system’s lifetime.
Seraphim first entered the Australian market in 2012. The company’s Australian office is located in Melbourne.
Seraphim Solar Panels
Seraphim panels are amongst the most efficient in the world. The main reasons why we recommend them for residential and commercial solar installations are:
Produce power in partial shade
Seraphim panels will produce power even when they are partially shaded. This is achieved by a clever design feature which involves splitting each solar panel into two sections so they generate power independently of each other. This means when half the solar panel is shaded, the other part of the panel that isn’t shaded will continue to generate power.
Higher energy output
Each small cell in the Seraphim panel is half the size of cells found in most other solar panels. This results in less energy loss when power is transferred from the cell, so you get more power from each of your panels.
More watts per square metre
Seraphim panels are available in a range of different wattages – from 330 watts to 440 watts per panel. This provides a tremendous amount of choice when it comes to designing the best solar system for your roof. For example, if you have limited roof space and want to install 6.6kW of solar PV capacity, you can do this with 15 x 440 watt Seraphim panels. Whereas if you chose the 330 watt panels, you’d need 20 of them to achieve the same result (which may be perfectly acceptable if you have a large roof).
High efficiency rating
Seraphim panels have an efficiency rating of between 19.49% and 20.15% depending on the module, making them one of the most efficient panels you can buy.
Seraphim panels come with a 15-year product warranty and a 25 year performance warranty. The 15-year product warranty is a real plus as most other panel brands have a 10 or 12 year product warranty.
